This luxurious crop comes to you from the land of Colombia, specifically from the Quindío region, Armenia, at an altitude ranging between 1700-1200 above sea level, where Carlos Arcela’s farm called Castellón is located, which covers an area of 7 hectares at an altitude of up to 1450 above sea level.
Carlos Arcela comes from a Colombian coffee-growing family. With his experience and expertise, he purchased the farm 32 years ago, preparing the soil, restoring and developing its natural springs, and planting beautiful, colorful flowering shrubs like heliconia and romilia, as well as several native trees. Now, the Castellón farm, surrounded by trees, looks absolutely stunning.
Carlos was known for implementing strict agricultural practices, which contributed to producing high-quality coffee crops.
The crop was treated using the anaerobic honey method, where the coffee is subjected to fermentation for up to 72 hours while preserving the sticky film surrounding the coffee beans, and then spread on raised beds.
Suggestions: Tropical fruits, peaches, sweetness
Treatment: Anaerobic honey
Altitude: 1700 - 2200 meters
